About the Author:

Manu Joseph is an Indian journalist, novelist, and screenwriter. He is the author of four novels, including Serious Men, which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2010. He is also a regular contributor to various publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Caravan.

Joseph was born in Kottayam, Kerala, India, in 1974. He studied engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, before starting his career as a journalist. He has worked as a reporter, editor, and columnist for various publications in India and abroad.
